I like the Chinese calendar, as i can resonate with it! In any given year you can link events to the Chinese year name. So yes, so far it has been the year of the earth ox for me, here is the explanation:

The ox is generally a big and calm animal. How does this apply? It was generally a big year for me and the business, I got engaged and bought a new house, the company also had a nice calm growth.

As for the nasty part, the Ox shits everywhere and in big quantities! The recession was there when the year started and we still have economic problems popping up all around the place. Seems the ox had diarrhea while visiting Dubai, especially near the palm area.

As for 2010, it will be Year of the Tiger! Are we going to have fun or what?! I’m really looking forward for a great year.

Market research is an interesting subject to study for some, and it’s more interesting to see how Jordanian students think.

When an MBA student is asked to select a new product that could be introduced to the country, then do market research for that, i’d say it’d take some thinking. I can think of many interesting products that could be introduced to Jordan, but not the idea of this post!

One guy attending the course seems to have figured out the perfect missing product for this market, tan tattoos!! I’ve never heard of tan tattoos so i immediately googled the term and got the following image.

What a nice original idea for Jordan?! Since most Jordanians like to hang out at the beach to tan and love tattoos, this would seem like a perfect idea! I think at least 20% of Jordanians would love to have the cow look too! It works with the mooo, مو?

Ok, i’m just being harsh on the guy and the idea. Some tan tattoos do look nice, i think Ammani girls would love a heart tan tattoos like this one.

I’m ordering 2,000 stickers now!
